Don't Breathe a Word
Somthing to think about...
1. Do you think being a teenager in the 1960s was very different from being a teenager now? If yes, in what ways?
2. Would you participate in an experiment like the one in the book? Have you heard of anything similar? If you were involved in an experiment that went wrong, would you report it right away, or would you go along with a group decision?
3. Would you join a secret society? Do you think they are a good idea?
I just want to say that this was a great book and I definitely encourage you all to read this one.
ReplyDelete3. This answer might be a bit weird but I think that the ideas of secrecy society are not a good idea. The fact that they are a secret makes the people in that group think they can get away with anything. They don't think about the consequences before acting because they think they will never be found
However I would totally join a secret society. I believe that I'm a good enough person / student that I would be able to be in a secret society and not do something insane. I would never go any further than I'm comfortable with. If I see that most of its members are insane (like a cult) I would leave right away. But I think that the idea of having a SAFE secret group would be fun in a way. It would your little secret and something interesting you can tell you kids when you get older.
