Welcome!

Hi everyone, Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year. We're going to get moving right away. We're starting with an organizational meeting where we decide on meeting dates and collect reading suggestions. We'll also share our love of reading by briefly talking about what we've been reading lately. Bring your lunch to the Library seminar room. Drinks and dessert will be provided . See you in the Library!

About Perks of Being a Wallflower

Hi all, I'm wondering whether you would be interested in purchasing your own copy of The Perks of Being a Wallflower . The problem is that I cannot keep purchasing sets of books especially when other high school libraries already have their own copies and, therefore, reselling them to offset the cost is unlikely. That is the case with Perks . I can get softcover for $11.19 + tax  or hardcover for $16.60 + tax. Let me know whatcha think. Mr. F

Thanks for a great meeting

Hi all, Thanks for a good discussion today. Here's what we decided: discuss Cloud Atlas at the December meeting read Perks of Being a Wallflower over Christmas add a meeting in early January, 2013, to discus Wallflower. I would suggest the Monday we get back since the seminar room is already booked for Grad Photos 10, 11 & 14. Let me know watcha think of the plan. Kudos and thanks to Celise for cleaning up after the meeting.

Books we want to read!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chobsky -  is that right?
